1. Gather Materials and labor needed: (we will supply, if you are in the DC Metro Area) 275 Gallon white or clear plastic container with no top. Most IBC pallatized plastic containers come with top that must be cut off with sawzall or other safe plastic cutting tool; place in sunlit area next to reservoir/lake/river. Ensure container is next to the lake/reservoir with full exposure to sunlight. Fill about 70 gallons of muck/dirt/algae/gravel from bottom of water body; then fill 200 gallons of water from the reservoir/lake/river. Once water has settled, about an hour after filling, go to Step 2.
On Test day 1 shake Aquaritin container then add 1 teaspoon of Aquaritin (we provide) early (6 am or after sunrise) each morning and gently stir water with a stick. Some time later in the day take a close up picture of the water in a clear glass jar against a white background in good daylight. This first test day.
Take a close up picture of the water in a clear glass jar against a white background in good daylight later in day, days 2-7, drawing water from the plastic container. Repeat for next 6 days.
After test day 7
On day 7 take water sample and send for testing. Water test (similar water parameters to the right). Take a close up picture of the water in a clear glass jar against a white background in good daylight.
Compare the 7 pictures of water in glass and the two water tests upon receipt of results.
